Village court has been established on 1976 to empower women, the poor and disadvantaged groups to seek remedies for injustices, and to enable justice institutions to be responsive to claims. Now a days citizens are resolving their disputes at the local level in an expeditious, transparent and affordable manner through well-functioning village court.
