3rd Eye Alarm

3’rd Eye Alarm(US Patent Pending) is made entirely to detect, communicate and document movement of human size objects – including doors and windows opening or closing, in rooms up to ca. 25 sqm., using only your old Android phone, your current Android phone and a reliable 3G, 4G or WiFi connection.

3’rd Eye Alarm functions independently of light because the motion detection is based on radar technology instead of picture analysis.

3’rd Eye Alarm has low energy consumption, is un-affected by movement outside windows or sudden changes in light/shade. There is no limit to the number of detection devices and “3’rd eye App” removes pictures from its server after 30 days - and it is FREE!

It is easy to install and activate, and you can bring it anywhere and set up multiple devices in various locations.

3’rd Eye Alarm is not a baby- or pet monitor, it does not detect movement outside your house, and it does not connect to any security service – you must decide the appropriate action to take when an alarm is triggered. 3’rd Eye Alarm detects only motion, not the direction or speed of the object detected.

3’rd Eye Alarm is a work in progress so updates to improve functionality and add features is ongoing, and we appreciate any and all feedback that will help us improve the app.

“3’rd Eye Alarm” does not keep or have access to any of your pictures,

Free cloud storage of pictures up to 1GB, first pictures taken will automatically delete.

Setting up the alarm:

Log on to the app using the same e-mail account on all devices,

Turn up loudspeaker volume to 75% - on alarm device(-s), avoid covering speakers with a device holder or similar.

Choose a camera (front/back). The front camera enables more accurate positioning and increased radar range, however, there is no flash. The back camera for dark rooms / low light intensity and active flash.

Activate the alarm device(s), and place your surveillance device(s) horizontally, 1 - 1,5m above ground, in a holder or leaning against a wall/lamp/book etc. with the chosen camera facing the area you want to surveil,

vacate the alarmed area within 60sec. and “3’rd Eye Alarm” will calibrate for another 60 seconds,

Motion detection range may vary depending on room acoustics and position of device, check and optimise your individual alarm range.

The motion detection technology:

“3’rd Eye Alarm” uses ultra sound at 20,000Hz, Doppler Radar principles, and unique audio processing. This turns your Android device into a sensitive short range motion detector that is able to detect, communicate and document motion of human sized objects without the use of any added or external hardware.

The ultra sound signal used in “3’rd Eye Alarm” can sometimes be heard by younger people or animals if they are in the same room as the activated alarm.

A US patent for the technology developed for “3’rd Eye Alarm” is pending approval.
