About Memory

The About Memory app was designed to solve this problem. Often, students at any level end up with the problem of how to organize all the material they need to study. It might relate to a preparation for some important test or to keeping the information "fresh" in memory.

The solution uses the concepts of memory forgetting curves to assist the user in scheduling what should be studied, according to the inputted parameters, and can be applied to basically any activity, such as, for example, but not limited to: use of formulas (mathematics, physics ...), music, speeches, practice of musical instruments (mechanical memory) or practice of a language.

According to the importance of a study item (called a sub-study), the application takes care of setting up its study plan, respecting the time limits defined by the user. In addition, it also warns, through notifications, when any sub-study is reaching a critical level of memory lag, recommending reinforcement. Daily summaries can also be issued, if the user so wishes, listing the sub-studies in a critical state and with a greater forgetting.
