Choprop is a South African based Real Estate Group, specializing in Property within the Emerging and Mainstream Markets. Choprop group has a proud history of almost 7 years of ‘experience with an unbeatable record of success’ in concluding just over 1500 deals since its inception in July 2007. Choprop was founded by Yusuf & Shazia Essa, local entrepreneurs who started from humble beginnings. Yusuf, popularly known as “Choppee” started his business career as a hotdog vendor outside the local café corner in his hometown of Laudium in Pretoria. Shazia, his wife a Physiotherapist by profession made her career as an Estate Agent in 2006. Shazia started as an intern for a local estate agency, after which she joined her husband in Choprop in 2007
