Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is an American businessman and politician who is President-elect of the United States. He is currently the chairman and president of The Trump Organization, the principal holding company for his real estate ventures and other business interests – a position he has said he will vacate prior to his assumption of the presidency.
