An alarm you can't swipe off.

Set an alarm, then record a sound from your actual life — the thing you'd be doing anyway if you

were up. When the alarm rings, it listens. It doesn't stop until it hears that sound.

So there's no swiping and no bargaining from under the blanket. To turn it off you have to be

standing somewhere else, doing the thing.

THE PROBLEM IT ACTUALLY SOLVES

Waking up was never the hard part. The hard part is the first move — going from lying there to

standing up, from meaning to do it to doing it. That gap is where mornings disappear, and for a lot

of brains it isn't laziness, it's a wall.

Halloo puts the first move on the far side of the off switch. By the time the noise stops, you've

already started.

WHAT WORKS

Anything with a texture: shaking a pill bottle, an electric toothbrush, running water, a kettle,

keys, a grinder, pet food hitting a bowl, a squeaky door. Pick whatever is already part of your

morning — every alarm can have its own.

What won't work: a tune, a clapped rhythm, or a spoken word. Halloo recognises the character of a

sound, not a melody and not language.

WHILE IT'S RINGING

Tap once and the alarm goes quiet to listen, so you don't have to shout over it. A live display

shows what the microphone is hearing, so you can watch it recognise you.

THERE IS ALWAYS A WAY OUT

You might be on a plane. You might have left the thing at someone else's house. So there's an

escape: hold a button for thirty continuous seconds and the alarm ends, no sound needed.

Thirty seconds is expensive on purpose. Anyone can pay it. Almost nobody wants to. And underneath

that there's a hard three-minute ceiling that releases you no matter what — a real obstacle, never

a cage.

Halloo has no internet permission. Not a promise — a fact you can check in the app's permission list.

Nothing you record can leave your phone, because the app has no way to send it. Your sounds are

turned into a small mathematical fingerprint on the device and stay there. No account, no sign-in,

no analytics, no ads, no tracking. It works in airplane mode.

WHAT IT COSTS

Three alarms, free, forever — enough for a wake-up and two more moments in the day.

Past three, a single one-time purchase unlocks unlimited alarms. It never charges again. There's no

subscription, because there's no server to pay for.

There's also a higher-priced version of that same unlock. It gets you exactly the same thing; the

difference pays for someone who can't afford it.
