  Add-ons: sign in to your own OpenSubtitles, Trakt, Simkl and TMDB accounts under Settings > Add-ons.
  
  Search OpenSubtitles or Subdl from inside the player — both know what you are watching, and Subdl needs no sign-in. Trakt and Simkl keep your profile up to date, with your watchlists on Home.
  
  Also: reorder the Home rows, and set how long the player controls stay up.
  
  Fixed: the huge subtitle language list, sign-out wrongly reporting a sync problem, and the Sync this device switch.

  Search now has its own place in the menu, and it searches everything you have — channels, films and shows, your provider's catalogue and your own Jellyfin, Emby or Plex server together. Channels from M3U lists that carry the provider's sign-in details play at last, and DASH channels play on ExoPlayer. A film that won't start now says so and offers Retry. On ExoPlayer, Resume lands where it said. The updater explains itself when it can't install. Lock-screen play and pause work during a film.

  Multi-View no longer silences the channel you are on. Films and shows from your own media server now show their own background artwork. Recording a channel from an M3U list works instead of saving an empty file. Searching Sports covers the whole week. Holding OK on a remote can no longer answer a box before you have read it. Also: a Copy button on your Log Key, Mark as Unwatched, more profile pictures, and fixes for the app failing to start, closing on a link, and crashing while recording.

  Plex and Emby are here — connect your own server alongside Jellyfin.
  Setting up on a TV no longer means typing an address with a remote: the app shows you a code, you fill your details in at kwickplayer.tv/link, and the TV picks them up.
  Also new: swipe for brightness and volume, choose the picture shape, see when a film will finish, and set how big the app draws.
  Fixed: films and shows now pick up where you left them — including after closing the app, and across your devices.

  Use your own TV guides: point a provider at any XMLTV guide — link or file — and add as many as you like. They fill in alongside your provider's, and now match guides whose channel IDs don't line up with yours by station name.
