Marshmello earned $44 million over the past two years, thanks to six-figure nightly fees and crossover hits like “Happier” (with Bastille) and “Wolves” (with Selena Gomez). Puffed up by his series “Cooking With Marshmello,” his YouTube channel is now the 50th largest on the planet—behind Bruno Mars and ahead of Maroon 5—averaging 250 million views and 1.4 million new subscribers every month.

Marshmello first gained international recognition in early 2015 by publishing remixes online. His debut studio album, Joytime, was released in January 2016, which included the lead single and Marshmello's debut single "Keep It Mello". "Alone", a platinum-certified single was released in May 2016 via the Canadian record label Monstercat. Having peaked on the US Billboard Hot 100 at number 60, it became his first single to be certified platinum in the US and Canada with over 1 million copies of certified units. That year, he released three subsequent singles. In 2017, after releasing singles such as "Chasing Colors", "Twinbow" and "Moving On", Marshmello collaborated with American R&B singer Khalid to release "Silence" as a single, which was certified platinum and multi-platinum in eight countries. Succeeding another single, one of his bestselling singles, a collaboration with American singer Selena Gomez, titled "Wolves" was released.

Marshmello is one of the most popular faces in the music industry even though his face remains covered, he has still managed to make a place for himself in the world of music. The real name of Marshmello is Christopher Comstock. He is an American electronic music producer and DJ by profession. He was born on May 19, 1992, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. When we talk about his genre of music, it includes groove-oriented, synth, and bass-heavy electronic dance music. He is managed by Moe Shalizi.

The 29-year-old dropped his first original track Wavez in the year 2015. He shared the song on his SoundCloud page at the beginning of 2015. Following this, he released remixes of songs by American DJ duo Jack Ü and Russian-German DJ Zedd.

In real life, Marshmello doesn’t like giving interviews but somehow he managed to give one to Complex last year in which he talked about which genres of music he likes.

During an interview with Complex in April 2021, Marshmello said, “I came from electronic music, and now I’m jumping into hip-hop, so there was obviously a ton of people like Marshmello? Really? What? In the beginning, there was definitely some resistance, but I just kept at it.”
