This apps allows users with a Google Cardboard VR headset to explore the FIRST Robotics Competition field completely in Virtual Reality. Using the Google Cardboard button users are able to “fly” around the FRC field to view whichever angles they want in VR to gain a better understanding of the FRC Field.

There are three fields for you to view:

FRC 2018 Field - derived from official CAD

FRC 2019 Field - derived from official CAD

FRC 2019 Scanned - derived from a 3D Scan converted to a mesh.

Some elements of the fields have been modified to ensure the application runs smoothly on all devices. Elements that have been removed from the field are: screws, bolts, nuts, zip ties, and holes.

What's new in the latest 0.17

App updated to have both a VR mode and a “Non-VR” mode. The VR mode is identical to the previous release. The “Non-VR” mode has been added for those that do not have a gyroscope or do not want to use Google Cardboard to view the FRC Field.
