Writer Nguyễn Quang Sáng
Writer Nguyen Quang Sang, also known as Nguyen Sang, was born on 12 January 1932 in My Luong commune (present-day My Luong town), Cho Moi district, An Giang province. He died on February 13, 2014.
From April 1946, he volunteered to work as a liaison officer for the Lien Chi 2 Corps. In 1948, he was sent to school to study more at Nguyen Van To High School. In 1950, working at the Politbureau's Political Bureau of the Southwest Division, he worked as a religious researcher (mainly Buddhist and Hoa Hao).
In 1955, he followed his unit to the North, transferred the industry with the rank of lieutenant, as a staff of the Radio Voice of Vietnam. Since 1958, worked at the Vietnam Writers Association, as editor of the weekly edition of Literature Publishing House, author of literature.
In 1966, he entered the southern battlefield, working as a cadre of the Liberation Arts Association. In 1972, back to Hanoi, continue working at the Writers Association.
After the unification of the country on April 30, 1975, he returned to Ho Chi Minh City, holding the position of General Secretary (later renamed as President).
Nguyen Quang Sang has been a member of the Vietnam Writers Association since 1957; Member of Association Executive Committee 2 and 3 and Deputy Secretary General Association 4.
He died at his home in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City at 17 hours on February 13, 2014. He was 82 years old. [1]
