Chaco Culture National Historical Park is a cultural heritage site. The Chacoans (Pueblo people who were residents of the Chaco canyon) were at the heyday of their civilization from AD 850 to 1250. The Chaco Anasazi people excelled in art and engineering alike and their work is reflected in the various archeological sites.
