SomeTime resolves the difficulty of remembering IOUs offered in return for favors. The application allows for an in-person agreement of repayment via “pledges”. If you owe someone a favor, you create a pledge describing the compensation and the date by which the favor will be resolved. The pledge is converted to a QR code that another user can scan, then he or she may review the terms and accept or deny the pledge. A record of pledges made and owed is available to both parties.
