The text books in the fields of science, engineering and medicine should be developed in Tamil in order to achieve the goal of providing higher education through Tamil language in all fields. For this, glossaries in Tamil are to be developed in all the fields and it is an essential requirement. Therefore, with a help of a panel of experts, Tamil Virtual Academy developed this Technical Glossary as an app and launched.

This technical glossary has been compiled with 2.50 lakh technical terminologies from 31 fields. There is no doubt that this initiative will be a defining step in Tamil education.
