Touch Protector

Has your music ever paused by itself while you were running, with the phone in an armband? That is sweat touching the screen. Touch Protector fixes exactly that.

One tap on the quick settings tile - like wifi - and the screen stops responding to touches. The volume keys keep working, the music keeps playing.

BLACKOUT MODE

A black screen that stays on, with a clock in the middle. It keeps you off the lockscreen, where the music controls would become touchable again: that is almost always the real culprit behind the skipped track.

THREE WAYS TO UNLOCK, ALWAYS AVAILABLE

- Long press, or tap several times: you pick the gesture, the seconds of pressure or the number of taps.

- The button in the notification, with a confirmation to rule out stray touches.

- In an emergency: three screen wakes with the side key.

BUILT TO NEVER LEAVE YOU STUCK

If a call comes in the lock suspends itself and comes back when you are done. You can set an automatic unlock timer. After a reboot the lock never turns itself back on.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO

The notification shade and the navigation bar stay touchable: Android lets no ordinary app cover them, and they are your way out. All the rest of the screen is blocked.
