Hey Wildcats!

My name is Manny Felix and I am a Junior studying Political Science and Spanish Translation and Interpretation and I am running to be your next Student Body President. We on campus are at a critical point in our history; we can elect leaders who maintain the status quo, or we can Move Forward. My platforms are centered around the student body through five categories:

Cultural Centers: I want to partner with the various organizations to create a more mutually beneficial relationship. This will be done through the promotion of programs such as the Common Ground Alliance.

Greek Life: I want to work with the Dean of Student’s office to promote the “Good Samaritan” law. We also must work to increase the safety on campus through continuing the great work of the “It’s On Us” Campaign.

Student Services: So many various services are offered on this campus, I believe it is crucial all Wildcats know what is available to them.

Community Outreach: We have so many amazing opportunities offered to us in and around Tucson. I want to work with our community leaders to promote student advocacy on and off campus.

Academics: There are so many amazing things about our academics, but I see room for improvement. Some things I want to include are: creating a 1-unit class for graduate test preparation, and working to create a syllabus preview on UAccess.
