The BigFoot Initiative seeks to answer the question 'How big is your digital footprint?' by illustrating, educating and ultimately increasing awareness in the usage of personal online data such as social media.

This initiative builds on the hypothesis that most social media users are unaware about how ‘big’ their digital footprint is, what it exposes and what impact it might have on themselves and society as whole.

We are building an app that allows you to analyse and understand your online privacy needs with the goal to assist you in adjusting your privacy settings in social media apps. The App can capture your online persona and determine how much of your data is out there. You can take part in psychometric testing and contribute to real research on social media, online personalities, and data exhaust.
