Eid al-Adha, or the Great Eid, is one of the important holidays for Muslims. It will be the tenth day of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah in the Hijri calendar, and after a day it is known as one of the most important rituals of Hajj for Muslims. The day of Eid and the following days are called the Days of Sacrifice and the Days of Tashreeq, and Muslim pilgrims spend them in Mina and throw stones there. Eid begins with the Eid prayer. Muslims on the remembrance of this day slaughter sheep or other livestock and distribute part of the meat to the poor
