Black Pink (블랙 핑크) is a South Korean girl band formed by YG Entertainment, which consists of members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa.

This group officially debuted on August 8, 2016, with their single Square One, which spawned their first number one hit, "Whistle." The single also included "Boombayah," their first number one hit on the Billboard World Digital Songs charts, which set a record as the debut music video most seen by Korean artists. With the group's commercial success in their first five months, they were hailed as New Artists of the Year at the 31st Golden Disc Awards and the 26th Seoul Music Awards.

Black Pink is the highest ranked K-pop female artist on Billboard Social 50, peaking at number 15. They are also the first K-pop artists to be on the Global 25 Global Summer Songs, with their 2017 hit "As If It Your Your Lastly. " They are also the first female K-pop artist to have the number three hit in the Billboard World Digital Song Sales ranking.
