BlinkShare

BlinkShare is a new smartphone app which finally makes it possible to upload photos on Google Maps instantly and anywhere.

The photos don't need to illustrate a listed place of business or of sightseeing: with BlinkShare, photos are uploaded "in a blink" and no matter where the user is located.

Photos appear on the map as smileys or other fun logos and the pictures are geotagged for future reference.

BlinkShare can be used to illustrate the map with an on-going event or by wildlife lovers who can snap the picture of a running tiger and put it on the map.

But BlinkShare can also be used in emergency situations: if you take a picture using BlinkShare and tag it as SOS, an automatic push-notification message will appear on the phone of first-responders who will have immediate access to your picture and your location and who will be able to communicate with you via the in-app chat system.

BlinkShare can be used to inform other users if you are looking for something in particular: the hashtag search system makes it possible for other users to know what you are looking for and send you their proposals.

BlinkShare is also a great companion to discover a city and to browse the world remotely in real-time from the comfort of your home.
