Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management is a co-educational, privately managed institute, affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology and approved by 

AICTE, MHRD, Government of India. The Institute is established with the  vision of raising the bar of quality education that is vital to shaping dynamic careers with globally competitive intelligence and skill-sets. A collective initiative of a few eminent social activists under the leadership of Late Prasanta Sur, a renowned statesman, CIEM boasts many cutting edge facilities a vibrant infrastructure ensconced in a beautifully landscaped 5 acre campus right at the heart of Kolkata, with smart classrooms, well stocked library, seminar rooms, innovation centre, language laboratory and computer labs.
