关于Cowrie dice
一些传统的印度游戏中使用考里骰子代替 6 面骰子
Cowry dice is used in some traditional Indian games (like Pachisi), instead of the more common 6 sided dice. Sometimes 6 or 7 shells are used in the games. The value of the roll is determined by the number of shells facing up.
This is a convenient way of using cowrie shells as a dice. You can even change the type of cowry shells used in this app. There are 3 beautiful cowry shells to choose from.
This app allows tossing of 6 or 7 cowrie shells. Depending on whether 6 or 7 shells are used, the value of the throw is different.
The values for a 6 shell throw is as follows:
0 cowrie facing up = 25
1 cowrie facing up = 10
2 cowrie facing up = 2
3 cowrie facing up = 3
4 cowrie facing up = 4
5 cowrie facing up = 5
6 cowrie facing up = 6
7 cowrie shell throws follows a separate set of scoring table:
0 cowrie facing up = 7
1 cowrie facing up = 10
2 cowrie facing up = 2
3 cowrie facing up = 3
4 cowrie facing up = 4
5 cowry facing up = 25
6 cowry facing up = 35
7 cowry facing up = 14
