Damares

Damares Alves Bezerra de Oliveira, known artistically as Damares, is a Brazilian gospel singer born in Umuarama, in the state of Paraná, on January 30, 1980. Her career in gospel music began when she was still a child, singing in churches and local events.

Damares gained prominence on the Brazilian gospel scene in the 2000s, and since then, has become one of the most well-known and respected voices in this segment. His career was marked by several successful songs that reached not only the evangelical public, but also listeners from different segments of society.

Some of Damares' best-known albums include "Apocalipse" (2008), "Diamante" (2010), "O Maior Troféu" (2013) and "Obra Prima" (2018). The album "O Maior Troféu" was especially significant for Damares' career, being one of the most successful and awarded, with emphasis on the title track which became a great success.

Damares is recognized not only for her powerful voice, but also for the message of her songs, which address themes related to faith, overcoming, hope and praise.
