This application can scan the driver’s license of the purchaser to assist retailers in calculating the age of the purchaser. It does not check or verify whether an ID is real or authentic. Retailers are responsible for ensuring that they do not sell tobacco products to individuals under 21 years of age (the federal minimum age to buy tobacco product). This application does not transmit, share or save this information on the user’s device or a third party or government server.
