Field Tracker

Skyhook’s Field Tracker is a demonstration and data collection application used to display, enrich, and log location results from Skyhook’s patented hybrid positioning system. This specific application requires the permission to randomly generate a persistent identification to demonstrate our IoT "echo" feature as well as other location forwarding services used in asset management and other distributed device/central control business applications. Hundreds of classes of wearables, gaming consoles, IoT devices, mobile phones and more use Skyhook’s positioning services to provide accurate latitude and longitude around the world. This tool is used by Skyhook, its partners, prospects to calculate location results and relay them to a central engine for asset management and IoT demonstrations. The app also enhances, improves and augments location results using Wi-Fi access points, Cell towers and other network infrastructure.
