Filipino Folktale Stories

This application contains with various stories categories like Alamat, Epiko, Kwentong Bayan, Pabula, and Parabula. This application is for children for them to read and to develop their comprehensive reading skills and to educate them about moral lessons and maintain patriotism to our country. The project was conducted to have a reading application and the same time provides a quiz for the children for educational purpose, specifically folktale stories.

To start the application, the user must click the icon of the application and it will show the main menu or the homepage of the application. The menu contains of four buttons which is the following button is start, developers, setting, and exit. Under start button will show the different type of folktales stories which is Alamat, Epiko, Kwentong bayan, Pabula and Parabula each type of stories contains of 5 stories except Epiko which is there is only 2 stories. The user will choose what type of story they want to read and after reading a story they will show a quiz about the story that the user read. In the quiz if the user choose the correct answer a check symbol (√) will be pop up in front of their screen and if it’s wrong an ex sign (X) is going to pop up to their screen, after finishing the quiz their score will be shown to their phone screen and it will automatically return to the “Mga Pag Pipilian” if the user want to go to the homepage they just simply click the home button and start another activity or exit the application.
