HVM Catapult D4M

The D4M app is a national portal providing a view of the Digital Manufacturing expertise available across UK High Value Manufacturing CATAPULT Centres as well as other UK Research and Technology Organisations, Universities and Industrial Research partners.

The D4M app allows navigation through various demonstrators and industrial case studies that focus on the deployment of digital technologies and advanced manufacturing techniques within various industry sectors and applications including food and drink, automotive, construction, chemical and aerospace.

The demonstrators show how emerging digital technologies such as AR/VR based simulation and information visualisation, Intelligent Automation and Advanced Robotics, Industrial IoT, data analytics, and machine learning, are used not only to improve operational processes but also to generate new business models and opportunities for all industrial actors.

The development of the D4M app portal was funded by CATAPULT and led by WMG, University of Warwick, with technical support from 4th Wall Virtual and FDS (see app credits).
