Puliyammakkal Group, having years of experience in Ginger and other business areas, had a humble beginning in bakery business in the year 2008. Over the years, our flagship bakery Mathai's has grown in leap and bounds. Though there were a lot of challenges during the initial stages of the business as newcomers in the Industry, we outgrew it in no time. Slowly and steadily, with our main motto of 'Giving the best', we gained good reputation throughout Wayanad. The aroma from the arsenal of cakes and sweets, won the hearts of young and old alike. We were the pioneers in introducing several new varieties of cakes and snacks which were not available in Wayanad those days - Black forest Cakes, Carrot Cakes, Malabar snacks and the likes, now much in demand.

It was Mathai's bakery who introduced the relatively new concept of 'Christmas fests' in local markets.
