S-Buddy (Reproductive Health Care Application)

Ipas Ghana, an international NGO has rolled out this new mobile app known as the S-BUDDY, your reproductive health guide aimed at providing authentic health information on SEXUAL REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH RIGHTS (Can be found at the HEALTH TIPS section of this APP) and to connect app users to a

point of service (Can be found at the HEALTH SERVICE CENTERS section of this APP) where they can access family planning counselling, comprehensive abortion counseling and safe and comprehensive reproductive health care including family planning & contraception and safe abortion services.

Ipas Ghana has in the past 12years partnered with the Ghana health service in its campaign to reduce maternal mortal and morbidity caused by unsafe abortion. The app can be downloaded for free on Google Play Store and IOS.

The IPAS app (S-BUDDY) is very easy to navigate and user friendly. At Ipas, we believe no woman should lose their lives while bringing another into this world. This application seeks to educate and sensitize the public on issues about family planning and contraception, sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR),

Ghana’s abortion law and access of safe abortion service. With a click of a button,

the app user can find a facility with a trained service provider anywhere within the country.

The frequently asked questions (FAQs) sections of the app seek to answer any mind-bothering question around SRHR (FP & Contraception, CAC) that users may have. Users can search for a question with its corresponding answers at the push of a button. In case a user doesn’t find the exact question(s) they seek to ask, they can be linked to a trained counselor who would provide timely answers and special support to meet your request(s).
