New Game Mode: Merge Tactics
The biggest highlight is Merge Tactics, a brand-new turn-based game mode available from Arena 3. This mode features a 4-player free-for-all survival battle where players summon and merge troops on a board to create stronger units. Unlike traditional Clash Royale battles, Merge Tactics doesn't require deck building; troops appear dynamically, making strategy and quick thinking key.

- Merge two identical troops to upgrade them.
- Choose a "Ruler" before the match to gain special bonuses.
- Random "Traits" change gameplay each match, keeping it fresh.
- The goal is to be the last player standing.

Trophy Road & Ranked System Overhaul
The progression system has been revamped to make climbing the ranks more rewarding and competitive.
- Trophy Road Extended: Now goes up to 10,000 Trophies, with a new arena called Valkalla unlocking at 9,000 Trophies. The Legendary Arena is now at 9,500 Trophies.
- Seasonal Arenas: After 10,000 Trophies, players enter rotating Seasonal Arenas (up to 15,000 Trophies) with unique rewards and Seasonal Badges. Wins and losses here affect trophies by 150 points, speeding up progression.
- Ranked Mode: Formerly called Path of Legends, Ranked Mode is now the top competitive ladder. To join, players must reach 15,000 Trophies or meet other high-rank requirements. This mode offers the best rewards and competition.
Rewards & Chest Changes
Rewards have been redistributed to benefit more players:
- Elite Wild Cards are now available in Ranked Mode, Seasonal Arenas, and Events, making them easier to collect.
- Gold and Gems rewards have been balanced across modes to improve resource flow. Gems have been moved from Card Mastery to Trophy Road for more consistent earning.

New Cards: Spirit Empress & Skeleton Barrel Evolution
Two new cards debut on July 7:
- Spirit Empress: A versatile 6-Elixir Legendary that can switch between a flying ranged form and a melee form, offering flexible strategies.
- Skeleton Barrel Evolution: When damaged, it drops its first barrel and continues with a second, overwhelming defenses if it reaches a tower with full health.
Other Improvements
- Badges: Redesigned for clearer categories and levels, with new Seasonal Badges at high Trophy milestones.
- Game Mode Switcher: All events and challenges are now accessed here, replacing the old Events tab.
- Classic Challenges: Rewards now come in milestones instead of a single chest; some rewards temporarily adjusted.
- Elixir Visibility: Disabled in Ranked and certain modes to keep gameplay fair.
- Quality of Life: Cards can be sorted alphabetically, evolved cards have updated art, and several bugs have been fixed.
