SugarCountNaija is a carbohydrate counting app, integrated with the 2017 harmonized edition of the Nigeria Food Composition Database. It is designed to allow Diabetic patients in Nigeria quickly and easily monitor their daily carbohydrate intake by tracking the carbohydrate in the food they consume. Carbohydrate counting is a dietary tool for diabetes management. The app is currently part of a postgraduate MSc project in Human Nutrition.
