An Aussie 4WD magazine based in Western Australia, Western 4W Driver has been informing and entertaining 4W drivers for over 28 years.

Brimful of local knowledge, vehicle reviews, destinations, how-to's and humour, this 200 page quarterly continues to inspire 4W drivers to turn 4WDs into modern day pack horses for the purpose of discovering Australia for themselves.

Ever since it began, Western 4W Driver has seen a resurgence in interest in the bush with travellers heading out to re-discover the natural beauty and history of the country in the company of like-minded travellers or as family units. Travelling by 4WD can spur many interests including camping, bush walking, metal detecting, fishing, photography, astronomy, cooking - even wine appreciation.

More than anything it's about sharing common interests in the natural environment with family and friends.

Western 4W Driver has been proud to be part of this renewal of interest and editor Nick Underwood says his greatest pleasure is encountering enthusiastic readers out in the bush having the time of their lives and passing that enthusiasm onto their kids.

The bush, he says, brings out the best in everyone.
