Transl8

Transl8 takes text and chat messages and decodes them to every day English, it can also encode every day English into chat / sms speak.

Originally intended just for fun its proven useful, if at times quirky, having over a thousand different words and phrases that it can recognise. So if you see a facebook post or text that just doesn't make much sense try pasting it into Transl8 and hitting the decode button.

It is a simple easy to use fun app meant to make understanding the myriad of text and chat terms, abbreviations and yes even some of those smilies easier to understand so download, install and have fun. If you want to get words or abbreviations you use a lot added to Transl8 send some in an email for inclusion in future updates.
