Acerca del Verizon SDP
Perímetro definido por software de Verizon: implementación de la arquitectura Zero Trust.
The Verizon Software Defined Perimeter (SDP) is the Zero Trust Architecture that provides users with fast access to their applications. It is fast because its over-the-top approach provides the shortest path from users to their enterprise applications. It provides a reliable and easy to install encrypted connection from an iOS device to the appropriate Verizon SDP Controllers and Gateways to enable users secure access to authorized business applications in the data center, on the DMZ, and in the cloud.
Verizon SDP sits between users and servers. It isolates servers to defeat exploits such as attacks on vulnerabilities and configuration errors. It applies multi-factor authentication to defeat credential theft while not requiring the user to continuously re-enter their passwords or multifactor authentication tokens, and encrypts all traffic to defeat man-in-the-middle attacks.
The Software Defined Perimeter (SDP) is a preferred implementation of the Zero Trust Architecture as defined in the National Institute of Standards and Technologies (NIST) Special Publication 800-207. It defeats network-based attacks by unauthorized users and devices.
The Verizon SDP iOS application creates TLS connections from your iOS device to Controllers and Gateways, simultaneously, using the Apple VPN API Network Extension.
The Verizon SDP iOS applications requires an enterprise license to a Verizon SDP service.
