TOR is a real-time strategy game where the action takes place in outer space. The player is the artificial intelligence of the planet he has chosen, with his own general political system, industry and politics. In his hands is all the military and economic power, as well as the problems that the player encounters throughout the game. Depending on his choice and style of play, the opportunity provided to influence on the industry, the economy and politics of the country, ranging from a totalitarian regime and the nationalization and collectivization of all industries to a democratic or police state. The fate of the star system and neighboring planets depends on balanced choices and always entails consequences from the choice - whether it is an uprising of the defeated, or a shutdown and removal from power.
