Night prayer is the most important recommended prayer that has 11 rak'ats and its time is after midnight until dawn. According to the verse: The narrations emphasize its importance and introduce it as the honor of the believer, the atonement for the sins of the day, the eliminator of the fear of the grave and the guarantor of the day, and it is recommended that it be recited if time passes.

There is no obligation to recite all 11 rak'ats and it is possible to read less, in which case reciting the last three rak'ats (two rak'ats of the Shafi'i prayer and one rak'at of the chord prayer) is more virtuous.
