What is 3x3?

This new Olympic discipline is practiced everywhere and all the time. Play freely with the pick-up games. Play in competition mode with the Superleague 3x3 FFBB tournaments (or Juniorleague for those under 18). Two categories of tournaments have been created: Opens Start and Opens Plus. The latter are grouped together in a circuit which runs from the end of May to the end of July, with as a climax, the final tournament of the circuit: the French Open 3x3 presented by GRDF.

The Opens Start

It is the entry point for the Superleague 3x3 FFBB. Opens Start takes place all year round and is organized all over the country. Anyone can sign up. The participants accumulate points in the FIBA ​​ranking which may allow them to participate in the Opens Plus and the French Open in the long term.

The Opens Plus

The Opens Plus circuit runs from May to mid-July. A minimum of points in the FIBA ​​ranking is necessary to participate. At the end of the season, the best teams qualify for the final tournament: the French Open.

The French Open 3x3 presented by GRDF

It takes place at the end of July in France and brings together the best male and female teams on the Open Plus circuit. The winners of the men's tournament are invited to a FIBA ​​3x3 World Tour Master. A prize is awarded to each winning team.
