AlMessenger (Beta)

AlMessenger is a free and secure messenger based on the xmpp/jabber protocol.

In our time of total surveillance and control, everyone wants to know your innermost secrets, to have as much information about you as possible. Most proprietary messengers try to read what you write, find out everything about you.

But the main difference between Almessenger and other similar programs is privacy and security! We collect almost no data and provide a tool to protect against the ”all-seeing eye" of large companies.

What is AlMessenger? AlMessenger is a fork of the official Android app blabber.im with some changes, in particular, to improve usability, to simplify the transition from frequently pre-installed messengers.

Main functions:

•End-to-end encryption using OMEMO or OpenPGP

•Sharing pictures as well as other files

•Location sharing

•Voice messaging

•Disappearing messages

•Change the audio playback speed

•Audio/video calls

•Synchronization of message history with other clients

•Conferences or group chats

•Very low battery load

•Statuses

•Daily database backup to local storage

•Integration of notifications with Android Wear devices
