AMKA DENMARK is one of the largest wine importers,we deliver wines through almost all distribution channels in the Danish market.

AMKA was founded in 1978 in Denmark by Anna Marie Søndergaard who started importing wines as a hobby.

She named the company AMKA, which is a combination of her initials and the first two letters in her husband's name, Karsten Søndergaard.

From 1980, both Anna Marie and Karsten were employed full time in the company,in 1992 their son Frank has also joined the company.

Today AMKA is represented in the following 11 countries: Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal and Germany.
