** About this app

Coach2PEV (C2P) aims to reinforce capacity of health workers to thrive in challenging environments. C2P is a mobile application that enables supervisors providing strong coaching support to personnel in areas of multiple deprivation and in remote and rural areas. Health workers can ask for supervisor’s assistance and learn from peers in a team culture, access to m-learning capsules, e-job aids, generate improvement plans based on self-appraisal, monitor progress with an e-dashboard, and receive performance rewards.

** Who can use C2P

EPI staff can use this app with the authorization of the EPI manager at Central level.

** How C2P helps immunization workforce perform better EPI services?

With C2P, EPI managers can evaluate the immunization program through conducting surveys and improve supportive supervision activities through performance coaching of the EPI staff at all levels of the health system.

C2P can be used to conduct any EPI survey including the EPI review, KAP (Knowledge, Attitude and Practices) study, immunization coverage, etc. This is a powerful tool for measuring the quality of immunization services and for helping to improve immunization coverage rates in even the most remote areas.

The C2P app can address many challenges of supportive supervision by providing the following benefits:

- Coachs and coachees are in constant contact in between on-site visits allowing easy communication.

- Coachs can have access to coachees’ dashboard of activities to provide support and mentoring in a timely manner.

- Fostering a performance coaching culture with self-appraisal and monitoring continuous improvement efforts, as well as facilitating the learning process through the provision of easily accessible and digestible bite-sized m-learning nuggets from reputed sources such as WHO, UNICEF and Gavi in the knowledge library.

- EPI staff can be kept up-to-date with the latest immunization practices from peers and experts in the Community of Practices, and share their own experiences to address immunization challenges, or to raise issues that could be beneficial to the immunization community.
