Cameroonian Constitution

PREAMBLE

The Cameroonian people,

Proud of its linguistic and cultural diversity, element of its personality

that it contributes to enrich, but deeply aware of the

imperative to perfect his unity, solemnly proclaims that he

constitutes one and the same Nation, committed to the same destiny and af fi rms

his unwavering desire to build the Cameroonian homeland on the basis of

the ideal of fraternity, justice and progress;
