Cavani joined Paris Saint-Germain Football Club for 64.5 million euros, becoming the most expensive player bought by a French club at the time. With the Parisian club, Cavani notably won four French championship titles and four French cups. He won the trophy for best player of the 2016-2017 UNFP Ligue 1 season.
Edinson Cavani is the fourth player to reach the 100 goal mark for Paris Saint-Germain after Zlatan Ibrahimović and becomes the club's top scorer on January 27, 2018 with 157 goals.
At the Uruguay team, Cavani won the 2011 Copa América. He was then selected for the 2013 Confederations Cup, the 2014 and 2018 World Cups, the 2015 Copa América and the Copa América Centenario.
