Charge My Car

Help us create the most comprehensive network of charge points in the UK. We need your help to make this the most comprehensive list of charge points in the UK, you can add your home charge point and any charge point you see while you are out and about. Charge My Car is an app for owners of hybrid and electric vehicles. The idea behind it is to establish a social networking community, free of charge, that will enable owners of these vehicles to charge their cars throughout the UK and further by sharing each others home charging points, and therefore not be solely reliant on the ability to access public charge points.

The government have a target to have everyone in electric cars by 2040, but with the best will in the world, we are miles away from having an adequate infrastructure in place to enable this, even with funding allocated to increase the number of public charging points.

Imagine if we could add into the network home charging points! All of a sudden the problems facing electric vehicle owners become a thing of the past. The government have obviously not thought this through adequately so my husband and I thought we’d see if we could come up with a solution!
