Connected NAS Client

ConnectedNAS SMB Client is a robust, full featured file sharing application that enables your Android smartphone or to share files with other Windows Linux, MacOS computers or NAS storage devices.

ConnectedNAS is unique and is different from other Android SMB applications in two significant ways. Most SMB Clients are integrated into a File Browser application which enables you to browse and copy files between your Android device and computer. On the other hand, the ConnectedNAS client is integrated into the Android system through Android's Storage Access Framework (SAF), allowing your networked files to be directly visible to applications such as Word, Powerpoint or other apps.

By integrating ConnectedNAS into Android, all apps that utilize the SAF have access to your files even when they are remote. This means you don't need to copy files back and forth and you don't need to use a File Explorer kind of application to access your files.

The ConnectedNAS client implements the SMBv2 client protocol and can access files on remote computers and devices that support network file sharing. ConnectedNAS will also discover servers on the local network capable of sharing files with your Android device or remote servers can be manually added.

ConnectedNAS is the ideal companion to Android's "Files" App as well as leading office productivity tools.
