  The green light alert catches more lights turning green: if the camera loses track of the light you're waiting at, the app keeps checking the spot where it was. After a short GPS dropout on the highway, the speedometer no longer shows wrong speeds while the signal comes back.

  The green light alert now chimes only when a light you were stopped at turns green, and only once per stop, so a flashing signal or the next lane's green no longer sets it off. It also reads traffic lights that hang sideways. When GPS drops out for a moment on the highway, the app no longer reads it as 0 mph: the speedometer keeps your last speed, and the alerts don't take it for a stop.

  New for Pro: a green light alert. When you're stopped at a red light, DriveSight chimes as soon as it turns green. You can turn it off in Settings > Alerts & Sounds. Traffic lights are also recognized much better at night.

  The speed panel now shows your GPS coordinates under the compass and your altitude next to it, in plain white text that's easier to read. New users get 2 free drives with every Pro feature before Pro locks. The Unlock buttons on the Maps tab and on alert cards, and the Upgrade card in Settings, now open the upgrade screen. The upgrade screen never opens on its own while you drive.

A drive started with the Record button now starts its trip as soon as you move. A phone left recording in a hot parked car dims its screen to shed heat and brightens again when you drive off.   Flock camera alerts now have their own on/off switch in the alert settings, separate from the other cameras, so you can turn them off and keep the rest. Surveillance cameras are no longer announced as speed cameras, and more Flock cameras are recognized as Flock.
