استفاده از این برنامه تنها در صورتی به شما آیکون های Google Latitude خود را پس از ارتقا به نقشه های گوگل v6.12.0 را از دست داده اند.

این برنامه تلاش می کند برای ارائه یک میانبر برای دسترسی به بخش عرض جغرافیایی در نقشه های گوگل.

هنگامی که گوگل رفع آیکون طول و عرض از دست رفته (ویجت) شما می توانید این برنامه را حذف کنید.

Prevents edutital from crashing when Latitude can not be found on the device. Instead this app now switches to
https://support.google.com/gmm/answer/3001634?p=maps_android_latitude to inform users of the imminent retirement of Latitude.

Hopefully after August 9th, 2013 a solution becomes available to launch Google+ directly in the ``Locations'' section. (Google+ Locations is the replacement for Latitude)

Latitude will be retired...
