Engine Simulator

ENGINE SIMULATOR is not a racing game. It's a mechanical simulator: you build the engine yourself, part by part, then take it out on the road to see what it can really do.

▬ BUILD THE ENGINE

Eleven layouts: single-cylinder, inline, V, VR, W, boxer, Wankel, H, U, X and radial. Up to sixteen cylinders.

You choose the bore and stroke to a tenth of a millimeter, the number of valves, the valvetrain, the fuel system, the aspiration — naturally aspirated, turbocharged or supercharged — the exhaust, the crankshaft phasing and the rev limit.

Every change shows up instantly. The torque and power curves redraw themselves, and an animated cutaway shows the pistons, connecting rods and valves working at the engine's real speed. Mean piston speed is shown in meters per second: past twenty, you know why it breaks.

▬ THEN YOU DRIVE IT

Cockpit view behind the wheel, with the gauges and your hands on the rim, or outside view. Manual transmission with a clutch pedal, or automatic.

Rear-wheel and all-wheel drive cars break into a slide when you push them: the car goes sideways and you have to countersteer to hold it. The steering wheel spins the other way, just like the real thing.

Sun, rain, time of day and temperature can all be set. Night falls for real, and it's up to you to switch on the headlights.

▬ 1,794 VEHICLES

85 makes, 493 model lines. Cars, motorcycles, quads, trucks, buses, tractors, tanks and kick scooters.

Each one comes with its full spec sheet: weight, drag coefficient, tires, brakes, gear ratios, and the engine that goes with it — from a three-cylinder city car to an eight-liter W16.

A dealership to buy from, a garage to keep them in, a workshop to fit parts, a tuning bench for the gearbox, aerodynamics and ABS. The oil wears out. Hitch up a trailer or a camper trailer — and you'll feel it.

▬ NINE TRACKS

THE ROAD — an endless straight with no bends and no finish line. The place to hold a gear all the way and listen to an engine climb.

THE HIGHWAY — three lanes, heavy traffic, trucks in the right-hand lanes. You start at the rest area, build speed on the on-ramp and merge. Gas station and parking at the rest areas.

THE COUNTRY ROAD — two lanes, and the left one belongs to oncoming traffic. Back-road bends, crests, grades up to 8%. The center line turns solid exactly where visibility drops.

THE MOUNTAIN ROAD — a descent that never ends, with tight turns.

THE PASS CLIMB — the same road, the other way up.

THE SPEEDWAY — a fast oval, six turns.

THE ENDURANCE CIRCUIT — a large road course, eighteen turns. Plus a version without the chicanes, with a 4.7 km straight.

TRAMUNTANA — 4.655 km, sixteen turns, full layout.

▬ WHAT THE GAME DOESN'T DO

No account to create. No game server. No connection needed to play.

Your vehicles, engines and settings are stored on your phone, and nowhere else. The game doesn't send them anywhere, doesn't analyze them and doesn't sell them. Ads are served by Google, which uses your device's advertising ID (with your consent where required).

An ad may appear when you return to the menu — never while driving, never during a pause, never in a settings screen. A one-time purchase removes all ads.
