A noticeable point is that the scheme is specifically designed for residential use and cannot be utilized for commercial or business purposes. Any electricity consumed beyond the free units will incur additional charges during billing. If the amount of electricity consumed falls below the eligible units covered by the scheme, no bills will be issued to the customer.
