The park is an area that contains components of hard and soft material that support each other intentionally planned and made by humans in their use as a place of refreshment in and outside the room. The park can be divided into natural gardens and artificial gardens. The gardens that are often encountered are residential parks, environmental parks, playgrounds, recreational parks, botanical gardens.

Gardening is more specific because it involves the aesthetic aspect or beauty and spatial arrangement so it has a function in its existence. In making the park there are two elements that are done, namely the soft field (softscape) and the field of hard field (hardscape).

The soft fields include planting all kinds of trees, shrubs and grasses.

Hard fields include the making of walkways, ponds, artificial rivers, fountains, cliff-making, natural stone laying, gazebo, children's playground, swings, garden lights, drainage and watering systems.
