Kim Taehyung or better known as BTS V is a singer, songwriter, and actor from South Korea. He is a member of the male vocal group, BTS. BTS V is the eldest of three siblings, has two brothers, a younger brother and a younger sister. The first time he wanted to become a professional singer when he entered elementary school and in junior high school he even took saxophone lessons to be able to realize his dream. BTS V officially became a Big Hit Entertainment trainee after successfully passing an audition in Daegu.

Taehyung joined Bangtan Boys in 2011, but was not introduced to the public until 2013. On June 13, 2013, Taehyung debuted as a member of Bangtan Boys on Mnet M! Countdown performed the song "No More Dream" from their debut single album, 2 Cool 4 Skool. The first song he composed was featured on the album The Most Beautiful Moment In Life, Part 1, he wrote and produced his own song called Hold Me Tight.

BTS's V also contributed to writing lyrics for the song Fun Boyz, which was composed by group mate Suga. For the song Run, BTS's V co-composed the melody and Jungkook wrote the lyrics, for their next album The Most Beautiful Moment In Life, Part 2. He also contributed to the composition and lyrics of his solo song Stigma on the album Wings. V BTS also released a cover of a song with J-Hope entitled Hug Me. BTS V also covered Adele's song Someone Like You.
