Mir Baber Ali Anees (Urdu. میر ببر علی انیس) was an Urdu poet.Anis used Persian, Hindi, Arabic, and Sanskrut words in his poetry.Anis wrote logn Marsias, which was a custom of his times, but nowadays only selected marsiya are narrated even in religious ceremonies. he belonged to a family of poets.
